The 90-Minute Plan

Prepare0–15 min

Warm engine, turn off, let cool 5 minutes, locate drain plug under car

Drain15–35 min

Place pan under plug, remove plug, let oil drain completely

Filter35–55 min

Remove old filter with wrench, install new filter with hand-tight seal

Fill55–75 min

Replace drain plug and pour recommended amount of new oil into engine

Check75–90 min

Wait 5 minutes, check level with dipstick, add more if needed

Dispose of old oil at recycling center; never pour down drain
