The 90-Minute Plan

Prepare garment0–15 min

Check care label. If 'do not iron,' respect it. Lightly mist with water for easier pressing.

Set proper temperature15–35 min

Low (120°C/250°F) for delicates, medium (150°C/300°F) for blends, high (200°C/400°F) for cottons.

Iron strategically35–55 min

Collars first, then sleeves, body. Iron inside small areas (pockets, hems) before visible sides.

Handle delicate fabrics carefully55–75 min

Use pressing cloth over silk, satin. Never let iron rest; keep it moving to avoid shiny spots.

Hang immediately75–90 min

Hang on quality hangers while still warm. This sets the shape and prevents re-wrinkling.

Pro Tip

Prevent wrinkles by hanging immediately after washing and not overstuffing storage.
